An additional two inscriptions are known, one from ロスメルタがガリアの太母の一柱であって、英雄である[[Roman Daciaスメルトリオス]].<ref>{{AE|1998|1100}}</ref>と関連するとすれば、ロスメルタの立場は「母」「養母」「上司」といったものが考えられる。半神半人の英雄神との関連からいえば、ロスメルタはギリシア神話のヘーラー（養母）、アルクメーネー（母）、オムパレー（上司）のいずれかに相当する女神と思う。オムパレーが時に男装するのは、「黄泉の国の姿（正常と逆の姿）」を思わせる。
