: {{Anchors|三菱サイクロン式掃除機「風神」|掃除機「風神」}}[[三菱電機]]は、[[掃除機]]（電気掃除機）の[[商標]]名として2013年（平成25年）3月1日から「風神」を使用している{{r|"三菱_20130128"|"三菱J1-03_20190612"}}。「強い吸引力持続ときれいな排気を両立した」とうたうサイクロン式掃除機「風神」シリーズがそれ{{r|"毎日_20171118"|"日経_20170712"|"朝日_20150810"}}。サイクロン式とは、掃除機の機構として[[イギリス]]企業[[ダイソン (企業)|ダイソン]]が[[1990年]]に開発した方式で、20世紀末に普及し始めた集塵装置の代表的一形態{{r|"kb_サイクロン(集塵装置)"}}。流体の旋回流によって生じる[[遠心力]]を利用した粉塵の分離装置である{{r|"kb_サイクロン(集塵装置)"}}。「サイクロン式」の名は、強力な旋回流を自然界の[[サイクロン]]になぞらえたもので、サイクロンは風の神が司るという関連性から三菱電機は自社製品に「風神」の名を当てたものである。なお、三菱電機は「風神」シリーズに先駆けて2010年代前半に「雷神」シリーズを販売していた{{r|"三菱_20110906"|AllAbout_20111130}}。こちらは[[光触媒]]フィルターを内蔵していることからの命名であった{{r|AllAbout_20111130}}。
